I had this burning and itching sensation with severe jaw pain near ear. I visited a new dentist this time. he just took out the metal fillings that I my previous dentist has inserted. He opined that these metal fillings have been passing heat and cold touching the sensitive tooth nerve and thus gave me an irritataing sensation. He has replaced the metal fillings with white fillings which have given me a great relief.
